Set-Up Instructions for Netscape 7.x

Attention! Sky Mail users must substitute the following:

  • POP3 = mail.yourdomain.com
  • SMTP = mail.yourdomain.com
  • Username = username@yourdomain.com
  • Email Address = username@yourdomain.com
NOTE: username = your given username; yourdomain.com = your company's domain name

For Skylands Networks Email Addresses

The following instructions explain how to set-up your mail account using Netscape 7.x

1. Start Netscape 7, click on the Window tab at top and choose Mail & Newsgroups.
2. Click the Edit tab at the top and then choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
3. Click the Add Account button.
4. Choose Email account and then click Next.


5. Enter Your Name, enter your Email Address and then click Next.


6. Select POP, enter pop3.skylands.net for Incoming Server, enter smtp.skylands.net for Outgoing Server, and then click Next.

7. Your User Name should already be entered and then click Next.

8. Your Account Name should already be entered as your full email address and then click Next.

8. Your account setup is complete. Click the Finish button.
